My Story
Hi there, I’m Juli Alfonso!
I love sports and the breadth of possibilities they offer for one’s health, physically and emotionally. I am a marathon runner and, throughout my life, I have practiced different sports, such as tennis, volleyball, and gymnastics. My passion for sports grew when I finished my residency in pediatrics. Around this time, I suffered a severe ligament injury in my left knee, leading me to face surgery and undergo a comprehensive rehabilitation process. However difficult this time was, it was also during which I found the specialty I desired to focus on: sports medicine.
I have been studying and training for over 10 years, have taken countless courses, and have attended many conferences. I have a Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology and another in Sports Coaching. Since 2021, although I made the large move to the US, I continue to see my beloved Argentinian clients virtually, while now broadening the scope of my services to those within the United States and the Bay Area as well.
I completed various certifications in the US to be able to continue to coach athletes who seek to improve their performance, as well as non-athletes who want to improve their habits and overall quality of life.
I look at sports from a scientific perspective and, coupled with my experience, I support both children and adults in the improvement of their sports performance and encourage all of my clients to achieve healthy daily habits that, little by little, have the power to completely transform one's life and degree of happiness and fulfillment.
Do you have athletic goals you wish to achieve? Do you want to improve your overall sports performance and/or achieve healthy habits in order to feel better and fulfilled?
I can’t wait to accompany and support you throughout this process!
